About:

I was born in Chicago Illinois as the youngest member of a family of five with four brothers and a sister. My family traveled to California when I was I was born in Chicago Illinois as the youngest member of a family of five with four brothers and a sister. My family traveled to California when I was two years of age. I spent my junior high and high school years in Union City California. Growing up as a youth I learned strong work ethics while working at the family’s dry cleaners business. I have taken those work ethics and applied them throughout my professional career. In 1983 I married a beautiful woman and we had two children. We have lived the past 21 years bringing up our two children in Manteca. During the time in Manteca I have been involved in soccer both as a coach and referee. While my daughter attended Sierra High School I enjoyed being a volunteer in some of the track activities.

Before entering the world of real estate I spent twenty years in an engineering environment. My final role was Project Leader for new engineering development in an electronic company. Spending so much time in the engineering field has developed and defined my work discipline and taught me how to look outside the box. In engineering as a project leader you spend time in the design field but also a vast amount of time solving problems. This problem solving experience has greatly enhanced my real estate career. I use this know-how in real estate to look ahead for possible problems and define ways to resolve any issues and avoid them when possible. As a realtor I am able to utilize my interpersonal skills developed when I was a project leader. Being able to communicate and respect everyone for who they are and their goals allows me to break down the barriers that may exist when helping clients buy or sell their home. Everybody has different views and opinions of the exact same property so it is important to listen to what my client has to say and then look for what they said.

My first introduction to real estate was in 2001 as an investor. This is when I began purchasing investment property. I purchased several homes from 2001 to 2003. Then in early 2005 realizing the real estate peak was near I started selling the properties that were acquired. I learned a great deal about real estate as an investor and found that I enjoyed many aspects of buying and selling. In 2008 with the recession not showing signs of slowing it was evident that layoffs were eminent. I enrolled into an online real estate course in anticipating of not being employed in the near future. In January of 2009 my time was up after 18 years with the same company. The great recession turned into a depression for my family and me. As my last day came and went I continued studying for my real estate license and quickly began my new career with PMZ Real Estate.

Now after two years as a real estate professional my experience has included studying how to buy and sell short sales; Understanding lending institutions and their process during short sales and foreclosures; Knowing how to list regular sales and capture the highest market value; Listing foreclosures; Helping buyers procure the most with their buying capacity; Listening to clients and performing in a way to achieve their goals. By practicing the above I was awarded The Realty Alliance Sales Award for 2010.

Although today’s market is anything but smooth, I enjoy the challenges that my clients and I face while going through the buying and selling process. By staying informed on the latest changes and information it allows me to give superior service to my clients. The relationships built in today’s real estate market are special. Your question is one that I hear from many of my clients. My daughter went through the school system in Manteca and my son is currently an eighth grade student heading for high school next year. Every city has schools that are rated better than others. You should be able to get this information on the internet pertaining to the Manteca School District. We have been pleased with the schools both of our children have attended. Manteca has many nice neighborhoods for you to live and be in a schoold district that would be to your satisfaction.
