"We recently completed the successful sale of our home in a very distressed Bakersfield, California housing market. I was extremely impressed by the two people who were absolutely critical in making this transaction successful; Tina Plath with GMAC and Shay Brandon Burke with Touchstone Realty.Tina took over the relocation coordination literally at the last minute in Chevron's transfer from Sirva to GMAC. She did a remarkable job in keeping the momentum going and minimizing any re-work on our part. Obviously we were very concerned to be so far into the process and hear of the change in relocation companies. We were extremely pleased with the outcome -- Tina did not miss a beat. Shay was simply the best Realtor we have ever worked with !! (and this is our 11th relocation in 25 years). It was not luck that we were able to sell our house in this market or that we received much more than the appraisers or other experts ever thought possible. When the purchase nearly fell through because of the Buyers agent, Shay was able to recover the deal through his relationship with the buyers.
