You might try the Legacy at Western Oaks. They have small yards on some of the ground floor units and do allow dogs. They do offer short term leases, but you will pay more for that freedom than you will for the same unit with a 12 month lease. If you want help please give me a call.

The one will be difficult, but your going to love Austin. You may have to be further away from the main drag, but that likely isn't a big deal since you have a 9 year old.

I hope you are well! Considering you are only looking for a 3 month lease, it sounds like you may have already purchased a home. Most of the apartments will not pay a finders fee for a three month lease anyway. However, I love to work by referral, so even if you have purchased a home, if you email me, I can give you access to a website that will not only allow you to view the information, but will also give you the name and number of the apartment complex. You can search by pets and areas, etc. and call them to ensure they will allow a boxer. The site has most, but not all of the apartments/townhomes in the Austin area. Hi Stephanie, there are quite a few apartments in Austin that will lease short term. Yes, it will be a challenge to find one that will accept a boxer, but it's not impossible. These apartments maybe older buildings. Newer apartment buildings usually have a more stringent policy on pets. In Austin, it is very common for tenants to use a realtors' service to help them find rental properties. There is no fee to you since the apartment or landlord pays referral fee to the realtor. So you may want to go this avenue to make your search easier. If your daughter will be attending public school, you may want to find a place that feeds into a good school district as well. http://www.greatschools.net will be a good source. Welcome to Austin!

I would also try to lease a home for a short term (reach out to a pocket listing and see if they can lease temporarily) if you can. That way your boxer has room to roam.
