If the home was sold at court sale, most likely you will be contacted by an assigned REO Agent and offered cash for keys. This is a relocation agreement between the tenant and the bank allowing you to remove your possessions and relocate. The home must be left in its present conditions with all permanent fixtures intact. The bank would now own the property. The time given to you to relocate depends on the bank that owns the property. The quicker you can move the more money you will be offered as cash for keys. Keep in mind that that there are limits of what each bank offers. You must leave the home in broom clean condition with all debris removed.
If by auctioned you mean foreclosed, then when the auction is over and the new deed recorded there will be a new owner and you will be at their mercy to stay or leave since they now own it. If it is being foreclosed, then the loan is past due which is what caused the foreclosure and you being on the deed ends when it's sold.
