Since not all liens may have been recorded, a title search is necessary--consult with your attorney...

It will be in your best interest to use a good real estate attorney to do his due diligence on the property you are purchasing. He would order a title search which would reveal if there are any liens on the property. If you need a recommendation, I would be more than happy to share with you an attorney's contact info that works Queens. Best of luck on your purchase!

work with a realtor with a positive state of mind, not just to get info and dump him, but with an attitude of
'live and let live' , if you want to make money, give others their share, afterall the only thing the realtors
sell is their information and time. donot try to ditch them just for getting infos.

NYC.gov is a great place to find this info! Or contact your realtor and they would be happy to help you with getting this info.

Out here, the best way would be to go to a good Title Company and ask them:

They might accomodate you as they want your business.
