Next is where it gets super easy. Contact the owner (bank) and ask for the asset manager assigned to ABC property. Once you get him/her, explain that you never got paid, and that you intend to place a lien on the property, and then foreclose on that lien to get paid. I can tell you that of the times Ive done this, withing 30mins of calling the asset manager, the agent or contractor that hired me was calling me to make arrangments to pay, of course I had to sign a lien waiver also.
Its VERY hard to get screwed in this business long term, you can always get paid, but probably will lose that customer forever.

I would consult an attorney and possibly take them to court.
You should consult a Real Estate Attorney or possibly take them to Small Claims Court.
