"As a first-time homebuyer, the concept of my having to go out and view properties was a daunting task, one that required a substantial amount of time, patience, and most importantly, a good realtor to represent my interests. I had the very unpleasant experience of initially working with a realtor (that I had randomly selected from a real estate magazine) whose goals were later revealed to not be in line with my interests, and so, after three weeks of spinning my wheels, I was back to the drawing board, with no realtor and no prospective property to view/purchase.After receiving a personal recommendation from my lawyer, I reached out to his referral, Tom Crimmins, to see if we could find common ground in our goals, especially given my preferences and budget constraints. Tom struck me as a well-mannered, professional agent who listened more than he spoke (a very positive attribute in a realtor!) and was willing to invest the time and effort to find me a property that would suit my needs. "Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $300k in Great Kills, Staten Island, NY."Tom Terrific", is what my wife Suzie & I call him. Recently married, was looking for a Townhouse in a nice and thriving neighborhood. We lived in Staten Island all our lives and thought we know everything about S.I., but Tom seemed to know more and showed us homes on streets we didn't even know existed. Our wish list on our first home seemed to be impossible to find. Tom was very patient and worked relentless to find our home.
